I attended a seminar on reconciliation in the local church. Honestly, my 33 year experience as a pastor is the church is a mixture of both good and evil. Any human organization is such, and because the church is a human community with a divine call to love God, neighbor, enemy and self our task without God is impossible. It shall be said,
"Build up, build up, prepare the way,
remove every obstruction from my people's way."
What an impossible possibility it is to remove every obstruction! It is impossible for humans alone, but possible only with God's help.
